1 CORINTHIANS 15:58

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:58, NIV: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

I Corinthians 15:58 is a reminder, an urging, and a promise to the church through Paul, that if we want to be in the first Resurrection and experience its Glory, we had better pay attention to this above all things in life. We must discipline our knowledge and energies into work because this is what life is all about.

Discouragement is just like a drop of poison in a bucket of water. It has the power to rob us of all our strength and courage in life. The Good News is that our Heavenly Father Has our backs Covered. No matter what happens on our way and in our day, we must never be discouraged.

Every effort we make in life and every step we take towards success and fulfilment will be opposed by the pressures of life. There will always be opposition in life.

Discouragement sets in when we fail to meet an ultimate goal or when we experience criticisms and complaints. Most often, people forget all the good we do and amplify one shortfall of ours.

In all these, God is encouraging us to be steadfast, immovable and always abounding in whatever vision, dream, or assignment He Has Laid On our hearts. If we stay focused and do not give up, we will eventually lay hold on what we have been yearning for.

I want to encourage you today; press on and don’t be discouraged. Those who tend to criticize you destructively, secretly admire your courage and your passion. I assure you today, your Reward from the Lord will be enough evidence that you are blessed. Do not be discouraged.

Use The God-Given Self-control & discipline to do 1 Cor 15: 58 and have peace & a stress-free life.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Encouraging me to press on towards the vision today. Strengthen me emotionally to be able to endure the harsh words of critics and unfavourable conditions that pose threats of killing my dream. Lead me LORD,
in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
