2 Cor 5: 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Character is what you do always (in private or in public), but Charm is what you are not in private, but you are in public. Charm is a con. The Charming man becomes whom he needs to be just for that particular moment (eg put on charm to win a lady). Your goal as a Christian is not to get everything you need and not to have the devil bothering  you, but it’s  to develop  Godly  Character & represent God on earth & act like Him so that people will see Him through you.

Character is not developed when we get what we want, but when but it’s developed when we don’t get what we want &  still be happy. You develop a Godly Character when you choose to do what is right, even though you feel wrong: eg treat right somebody who did you bad. You need to get around  people with Godly character – the spirit of ]character is ‘transferable’, so you are going be like who you hung out with, [eg, Be around people with Christian characteristics (Ps 1: 1)]

Every day we are faced with decisions that will influence our character. You can tell a person’s character by how he/she thinks, spends his/her money/time etc. Moses even  Prayed for his sis –that’s character – are you Praying for your enemies? Don’t think that just you have talent so you should be promoted into a higher position. No, you need character as well, because character is much more important than talent. Choose your friends wisely. Do you know that when you spend time with somebody for long, both of you pick up some characters from each other?

You are the 67th Book of the Bible. Sometimes people don’t read the Bible, but they read you. You are the greatest epistle that people can read. People that don’t believe in Jesus are looking at you. You are God’s personal Representative on the earth, so always let the Character of Christ be displayed in your life. Let the Peace that Christ Gives control your thinking, and also be a peacemaker

There are all kinds of people with  a gift, talents, education, etc, to promoted to the top of the social ladder, but once there not enough of character to keep them up there
