GOD WILL BACK YOU UP!

(NLJV) Matthew 18: 18 “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

(CEV) Matthew 18: 18 “I promise you God in heaven will allow whatever you allow on earth, but God will not allow anything you don’t allow.”

‘Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.’ Don’t worry, don’t stress, don’t be discouraged, God has Got this. It’s all under control, it will all work out: God has Got your back. You represent God here this earth, so He can Speak directly through you: He Wants to Bring justice to the oppressed – If you have been Divinely positioned to do this, nothing can come against you because God will Back you up.  God will Restore we lose in the process: God can take the shattered pieces of our life and mend that which is broken, making it into a vessel strong enough to hold all the blessings He Wishes to Pour into it. God Promises not only to Restore what was lost, but to Restore it abundantly.

Proverbs 24:16 is an encouraging verse that says, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” At first glance, this passage may not seem reassuring, but it is.

1 Peter 5:10. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

There may be days where you don’t feel like you’re hearing God. Rest assured that God has not disappeared. He is there with you. I hope these verses encourage you and remind you that God always Has your back. As we grow in Christ, most of us come to a place where we think there are some sins we just will not ever commit. God will not Allow us to fall. Even after our terrible sins, God Knows we will return to Him. God Knows we have important work to do down here on planet earth, (2 Cor 5: 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God NKJV). God will Back you up!

God Told Joshua, ‘Stretch out the spear that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand’ (Joshua 8:18 NKJV). It’s amazing how courageous you feel when God is Backing you up. When you know He is on your side, you can say, ‘No weapon that is formed against me will prevail’ (see Isaiah 54:17). But overconfidence is self-confidence that’s not based on God-confidence. Our problem is, we plan, say, and do things without first checking to find out if God is Behind us. Do you remember what the evil spirit said to those trying to mimic Paul’s ministry when they weren’t Empowered by God’s Spirit? ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?’ (Acts 19:15 NKJV).

When you’re under attack, you need to know that (1) you’re in right standing with God (see 2 Corinthians 5:19), (2) it’s God’s fight as well as yours (see 2 Chronicles 20:15), and (3) ‘whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven’ (Matthew 18:18 NIV). There must be agreement in both realms. If it’s not approved where God is, it shouldn’t be approved where you are. Your confidence comes from knowing you are operating in His Will. The Bible calls us ‘labourers together with God’ (1 Corinthians 3:9 KJV), so don’t go off and do your own thing. Don’t try moving any mountain the Lord doesn’t Want Moved or raising anybody from the dead except the Lazarus He Calls forth.

We do on earth only what He has Declared to be His Will in Heaven. And he backs us up! Amen
