PRAY FOR YOUR ABUSER

NKJV, Ps 147: 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Matt 5: 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

The Bible Tells you to pray for the people who hurt you, because they are people who need God’s Help. What they did to you will not do  anything to you if you don’t let it. Be good to your enemies; help those who have hurt you.  Don’t avenge. (Do Rom; 12, 21- Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.).

You do not  know what love is if you are  just loving only those people who can love you back.  Start Praying for your enemies & be good to people who have mistreated you: love  the  unlovable. Pray for your enemies  – it’s difficult to get angry at somebody who you are Praying for. Moses even prayed for his sister (Num 12: 13) – that’s character – are you praying for your enemies?

If you’re in a REPETITIVE abusive relationship, what should you do? – you have 3 options:

 (1)End the relationship if you need to. It’s not your job to change the person. And it’s not a failure on your part if they don’t change when confronted with God’s Love and the truth. Here is a Promise to stand on: ‘”I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So, we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me”‘ (Hebrews 13:5-6 NLT)?

(2)Get help. Solomon said, ‘A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken’ (Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT). If you need group support or mediation for intervention, take action – now.

(3)Pray for them. Jesus said, ‘Do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you’ (Luke 6:27-28 NIV).

You cannot afford to have unforgiveness, bitterness, strive, in your heart – they will mess you up spiritually– Pray for your enemies, forgive  them, & let it go (ie don’t talk/think about it again – get it out of your mind/mouth– don’t  tell anybody about it.) the devil will make sure you always keep it in your  mind.

‘Hurting people hurt people’: A study into the theory of a cycle of abuse discovered that many perpetrators had been abuse victims themselves. Often, they’re reacting out of unhealed wounds and undealt with issues. And while this in no way excuses them, it gives you insight into how to pray for them. Satan loves to use things like alcohol, drugs, anger, pornography and other counterfeits to destroy relationships.

So, pray for your abuser to become the person God intended. ‘He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him’ (Psalm 91:15 NKJV). Pray for your enemies & bless those who abuse you – when you live like that nothing can touch you. Try forgiving people & see how happier you will get & see what will happen to you when you Pray for your enemies rather than you hating them.

Completely forgive all the people who have hurt you; pray for your enemies – YOU CANNOT HATE PEOPLE  WHO YOU ARE PRAYING FOR – it defeats the devil when you are good to somebody who hurt you, AMENWhatsApp Image 2018-11-03 at 21.06.15
