WAIT/WAITING ON GOD!

(NKJV) Psalm 27: 14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

(CEV) Psalm 27: 14 “Trust the Lord! Be brave and strong and trust the Lord.”

Waiting on God = expecting all the Goodness of God. it’s the most spiritually active part of your life – it’s not a passive thing at all, it if living with a Holy expectancy. Aggressively expecting from God. Waiting on God is not doing  nothing at all, but it’s being spiritually active, ie. expecting God to show up at any moment (live with expectancy). Do not take fleshly efforts on your own power but learn to wait on God

We make matters worse when we take matters into our own hands. Beloved let’s wait on God…He says ‘…vengeance is   mine…’ & at His time He will enlighten our righteousness. God is never too late or too fast so we need to wait for Him to execute His plan/s for you; you need patience. Do not react to the same problem  the same way – in times of trouble wait on God & He will Tell you to do or say to Give you victory. Don’t compromise, wait on God – be led by The Holy Spirit – don’t be like everybody. A humble  person with humility knows how to wait on God for what is to be done – True humility brings honour  & promotion. •   Beloved let’s wait on God.

When we become impatient and react without thinking, we can do damage to ourselves and others. Sometimes when we pray and God doesn’t Respond quickly enough, we decide to take matters into our own hands and things get worse as a result. Just because you don’t feel or see anything it Doesn’t mean that God is not Working, nooo He’s Working all the time. When God Tells you to wait, He is saying, ‘Trust me with the timing, the ways and means, and you will get a better result.’ David wrote: ‘I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord’ (Psalm 27:13-14 NKJV)!

Ps 27; 14 – waiting on God = expecting Him, expecting God to  Show up with your  breakthrough.

Ps; 37, 3 – waiting on God is not like waiting for a bus at a bus stop, no it involves doing something; When you have  a problem & whilst  you are  waiting on God to Bring recompense & vengeance.

a) trust in The  Lord

b) do good all the  time

Is 40: 31 -Waiting on The Lord is the first step in going to The Presence of God – we need to live with expectancy, because God has some ‘suddenlys’, so you don’t know when He will Show up – the eagle does not run from storm but they advantage  of it.

It can be tough to wait on the Lord, but waiting on God  gives you hope. It’s much easier in the heat of the moment to lose your calm. Stop and look back. How did the hasty and prayer-less decisions you made in the past turn out? Do you think this situation will be different? Not a chance! What do you want? Temporary relief or a permanent solution? Haste makes waste! – When you act in haste, you do things that you end up regretting and having to apologize for. Or worse, justifying!

Impulsiveness got King Saul into serious trouble. Instead of waiting for the prophet Samuel to arrive and the priests to offer a peace offering to God ensuring their victory over the Philistines, Saul grew impatient, usurped the role of a priest, and offered the sacrifice himself. When Samuel asked him why, he replied, ‘I felt compelled’ (1 Samuel 13:12 NKJV). And the result? ‘Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly…now your kingdom shall not continue”‘ (1 Samuel 13:13-14 NKJV).

Whatever you are waiting on God for, if you don’t give up God Will with Give you what you have asked for or He Will Give you something much better. So, wait on God.Amen

WHEN YOU ARE WAITING ON GOD, PLEASE DO WAIT PATIENTLY.
