DON’T GET WEARY IN DOING GOOD

NKJV, Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not v10     As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith”.

CEV, Galatians 6:9-10 “Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up. v10 We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord”.

Every seed you sow you will reap but there is a condition, ie; (And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.) – Wait God’s time. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

On the way to victory we will face the weary test but don’t give up,(Gal 6; 9 – And let us not be weary in well doing: for in DUE SEASON we shall reap, if we faint not.)However, the ‘due season’ is always delayed because people give up.

KEEP ON KEEPING ON – Be humble, be diligent & in due season God Will Elevate you. You may have to treat somebody good for a long, long time before he/she ever treats you right, but don’t be tired of doing right because The Bible Says: (Gal 6: 9 – And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.)

•       You will definitely reap if don’t give up – just continue to be diligent.  ‘Due season’ = Ecc; 3, 1-8–(v1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven). With God,  a ‘due season’ & the ‘appointed time’, always come (Ecc; 11, 3 (If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…) – that means if you stop ‘doing good’, the cloud will not be full. The due season is always delayed because people give up.

God Wants to Encourage us to do good to all people, especially, to those who belong to the family of Faith. As we do that, we will reap the manifold Blessings of God.

Apostle Paul’s admonishing that we should not be weary in doing good, exposes us to the possibility of us being tired (weary) of doing good. Today, selfishness, pride and greed have replaced the attitude of doing good. Oh, what a generation we find ourselves in?

In spite of the attitude of ingratitude in most people today, God still Wants us to continue to do good. Some people are so ungrateful that nothing you do for them is good enough. If we look at the lives of such people, we will never do good to them. However, let us do all things as unto God and not unto man.

God is Assuring us today that; if we do not give up in doing good, He will Reward us in due season. When we stand for God, especially in times of difficulty, He will also Stand for us and Ensure that all men confirm that we are Blessed.

That is why we must cease every opportunity to do good, especially to our fellow Christians. Some Christians are under pressure to give up their Faith because of poverty and harsh conditions of life. As we help these ones, we will reap our harvest in due time.

Let us seek every opportunity to help others. We may appear unwise or taken for granted as we go all out in doing good. Our God who sees our hearts and actions will surely reward us if we do not give up. Keep doing good. Amen.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unconditional Love and Goodness towards me. May I reflect this same goodness to all others around me. Help me to overlook the ingratitude, greed, and selfishness of men, so I can do good to them. Bless me LORD, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
