NKJV, 1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Faith is the centre point of everything you desire most in this life. Learn to choose Faith through cultivating the fruit of the spirit, taking God at His WORD, and speaking ONLY words of Faith in every situation. Then the victory is yours!
When you know what it is – Faith is a spiritual force (not a mental force), you understand what feeds It (Faith is fed by the WORD of God), how Faith Comes (“So then Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God” -Romans 10:17), how Faith is released (Faith is believed in your heart and Released with your words), and you understand the Working of it, then you have arrived at a place of Victory.
Scripture says “Without Faith, it is impossible to please God. (Why? Because) He who comes to God must believe that He is.” But that’s not enough. “And He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”—seek Him by Faith (see Hebrews 11:6). Why? God gives rewards because He is so Good.
You must be Covenant-minded all the time.
Almighty God spoke through Moses the truth: You choose the course for your life: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
God Has Already set before you the choice of life, death, BLESSING, and cursing (Deut 30: 19). To Choose life; First of all, you have to choose Life Himself! And choose to speak words of life.
Tests and trials are not trying you; they are trying your Faith to produce patience in your life.
Patience is the same as long-suffering and is one of the nine fruits of the spirit (see Galatians 5:22-23, AMPC).
The Bible’s meaning of patience is not “to put up with;” it means “endurance.” ( it’s being consistently constant)The Fruit of the spirit (coming out of you) will bring Holiness to the flesh – But you have let patience do this, by Faith (James 1:4-5)
Cultivate the fruit and live by Faith.
As you study God’s WORD, watch for the words ‘will’ and ‘shall’. They are very strong affirmations in the English language: When God said, “I will,” it will happen for anyone who believes.
The natural man doesn’t believe everything in life is a choice. He wants to blame others for every decision he makes, especially if it doesn’t work out well.
Make this declaration:
“By Faith, I will set my mind on things above and not things beneath. By Faith, I will refuse any thought that does not lift up the Name of Jesus. By Faith, I will stay in peace and joy in every situation. By Faith, I will enjoy the Presence of the Holy Spirit on a continual basis. By Faith, I will think about God’s WORD, written especially to me. By Faith, I will please God—in Jesus’ Name! Amen”
