DO YOU WANT TO REALLY LIVE?

Psalms 34:12-14, NET – “Do you want to really live? Would you love to live a long, happy life? Then make sure you don’t speak evil words or use deceptive speech! Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it”

Psalm 86:11 – “In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (NIV)

2 Peter 1:3 (ESV) – “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence …”

God’s Will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his/her own body and live in holiness and honor – not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and His ways.

Discover The Light of Gospel & live life on God’s Terms; life on God’s Terms is for you to have life abundant, rule, and reign in life. When you live life on God’s Terms, the devil will be under your feet. Living life on God’s Terms makes you the head not tail, and you will not lack anything

Many of us are living life in our own way, but The Bible Says, ‘the end there of are the ways of death’ (Proverbs 14: 12) We are trying to deal with (things backwards), something has already been dealt with by the sacrifice of Jesus that paid for sin, so quit living life like there’s some debt owed. It is living life centered on the Lord, bringing the glory to Him alone, and the fulfillment of each is essential to the healthy Christian life.

“Living a godly life doesn’t mean living a perfect, sinless life; a godly life will involve spiritual warfare, a constant battle against sin through the word of God and prayer. It’s living a life centered in Christ, walking in His way, and always asking yourself, “what would Jesus do?” or “what would Jesus have me do?

It is one thing desiring something and another thing actually seeing that desire materialise. The reason is that there are always life principles, and procedures to be followed in order for anybody to have desires come true. Yes, one can certainly live according to God’s standard; it is not only theoretically possible, but also practically possible

One natural desire of every human being is that he or she will live long in happiness and fulfill all his or her days on Earth. However, it is obvious that not many people have this wish come true. David shares with us three very important factors that contribute to long life and happiness in life. We will look at the first for today.

If we are to live in such a way that highly resistant people will come to glorify God, we must act redemptively and pray effectively. That means we must make sure that nothing hinders our prayers, and that begins at home.

David expressed that to have long life and happiness in this world, one has to first of all be careful in his or her speech. He warned against speaking evil words and using deception in our speeches. In simple terms: check your tongue. Interestingly, checking your words also implies controlling your will and the way you think. This is because, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Nowadays, many of us have become very careless, not only in speech, but also with respect to what we share on our various social media handles. If you really want to live long, be always discerning about what to say,  how to speak, when to speak and who to speak to. That is wisdom. It is not every issue you need to react to.

Beloved, let us also desist from speaking lies and deceptions. Be always truthful. If only we will be careful in speech, we will be delivered from many troubles in life.
