IMMEASURABLY MORE

Ephesians 3:20 – “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” — (NIV)

What if the ceiling of your imagination isn’t the limit for your life?

What if the boldest prayer you’ve whispered, the wildest dream you’ve entertained, or the quietest hope you’ve tucked away in your heart—what if even that is only the starting point for what God wants to do in and through you?

The apostle Paul, in a letter bursting with encouragement and vision, put it plainly: God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. That’s not poetic exaggeration—IT IS DIVINE TRUTH.

We’re not talking about a motivational slogan or wishful thinking. We’re talking about the power of the God who spoke galaxies into being and still stoops low enough to whisper peace into your anxious heart.

HE KNOWS YOUR DEEPEST LONGINGS

Whether it’s the longing to be healed, the hope for restoration in your family, the hunger for purpose, or the ache for something more, God sees it all. And more than that, He placed those desires inside you. Not every desire we have is from Him, of course—but those deep soul-longings for love, for meaning, for wholeness—they echo His heart for you.

He isn’t just aware of your dreams. He’s the author of them. And His plans go far beyond what your human mind can comprehend.

But notice Paul’s emphasis: “according to His power that is at work within us.” This isn’t about striving or performing to earn anything from God. It’s about surrendering to the supernatural power of His Spirit that already lives within those who trust Him.

SO WHAT’S OUR ROLE?

We can’t manufacture miracles, but we can make room for God to move. Here’s how:

1. Give Him Glory

Recognize that every good thing every open door, every answered prayer, every spark of creativity or strength, reflects His goodness, not our greatness. Gratitude keeps our hearts soft and our perspective clear. We’re not the source, we’re the vessels.

2. Be Willing, Not Perfect

God’s plans don’t require perfection, only your availability. He doesn’t use us because we have it all together. He uses us because we’re open. Your surrender opens the door for His power to flow. When you say, “God, I’m here. Use me,” you’re stepping into something eternal.

3. Trust the Process

God’s timing often doesn’t align with our expectations. Sometimes His “immeasurably more” takes time to unfold. It can feel like waiting longer than we’d like, walking through discomfort, or letting go of plans we thought were perfect. But His ways are higher. Always. Amen.

And while you may not always understand the path, you can always trust the heart of the One leading you. He is kind. +He is wise. And He is working.

MORE THAN YOU THINK. CLOSER THAN YOU REALIZE.

God’s “immeasurably more” may not always come packaged the way you expect. It might not look flashy or arrive on your timeline. But when God moves, He transforms hearts, restores what was lost, opens new doors, and reshapes our lives from the inside out.

God does more in you before He does more through you. And sometimes, the miracle isn’t just what He gives, but who you become as you walk with Him. So don’t stop praying big prayers. Don’t shrink your dreams to fit your circumstances.

Don’t limit a limitless God. Instead, lean  Say “yes.” And watch how He writes a story you couldn’t have imagined, immeasurably more beautiful than anything you could have asked for. Amen.
