Psalms 108: 5-12 “5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me. God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.” – KJV
Precious one, our God is the same God of the beginning of creation, of yesterday, today, and forever. As He walked with men/women in the past and gave them Supernatural victories, so is He walking with His beloved today. They that know their God shall become strong and do exploits. When God is exalted, His beloved is delivered. His beloved becomes as bold as the lion.
King David was a man who knew God. He was God’s friend. He knew that anytime God was exalted and highly esteemed, He is ‘charged’ to do mighty deeds among His beloveds. So He prayed that ‘Be thou exalted, O God, …that thy beloved may be delivered”. From experience, David had come to know that, when God speaks, it is final, and His beloved rejoices.
I don’t know what you are believing God for, or how you live your life to supply your needs. However, I want to challenge you to live your life in a way that honors and exalts God. Let praises be on your lips daily and let someone have a cause to give thanks to God because of your kindness. You will be amazed at how God will come through for you.
Very soon, your battles will be over. That loan will be paid, that disease will vanish, those persistent schemes of the enemy will perish, and you will have a cause to boast in your God. Moan and Edom were tough enemies of Israel, but when God was exalted, David received the strength to trash them. He called Moab his washing pot and Edom his shoes. Vain is the help of man. May God be exalted in your life today, Amen.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, no number of challenges will silence me from praising You. Be Thou exalted, O God above the Heavens, and Your glory upon my life. Fill me with supernatural strength to trash my spiritual enemies into pieces, so that Your blessings and glory will be fully manifest in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
