CHOICES

Eccl 11: 9 NIV “You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment”.

Hello precious one. If I give you my well cherished car to use for some time, you may be at liberty to go wherever you please. However, when I return to assess it the ought to be as neat and well maintained as I gave to you. Though it had been placed in your stewardship, I will have the right to judge you based on how you handled my car.

In much the same way, our live Was Given to us so that we will officially be stewards of it. Think about it, which part of your body and persona was made by you: the eyes, hair, nose, hands or feet? None was made by you. Everything was Made and Given to you and that is why you have your body, soul, and spirit.

Your very being was Given to you freely by God so you will be a steward of it. You are at liberty to use your life in your own way but God, the owner of your life is also at liberty to Judge you based on how you live that life Given to you.

In The Scripture (above): King Solomon goes ahead to encourage the youth to enjoy every bit of their youthfulness, follow the cravings of their hearts and their eyes. It sounds more like, ‘whatever you desire to have for enjoyment, go get it; if it’s multiple women you want to sleep with, do’.

It is however important to note that God Will deal with you on every decision you make. Make sure that your decisions are in line with The Word of God. Make God-Like decisions now, so that do not live with regrets in future.

In our world today, anybody can get up, misbehave, mess up, and boast that, that is his or her right. What The Giver of life Considers abomination, seems to be what humanity is upholding us their right. For a present moment, a perverse person may display his supposed rights in wanton folly; however, in the fullness of time, God will also display His Right as Judge over all things.

In fact, may God Have Mercy on this generation.  Let us not forget the days of Noah and the flood, the days of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah. There is a wind of Judgement about to blow on the earth (after the Rapture) and all those who have availed themselves for Satan’s use will suffer the wrath of God’s Judgement. Oh, how dreaded that day will be.

Beloved, the next time you consider doing anything in the name of freedom and rights, please consider that sooner than later, God’s Judgement Will be Meted. Think about this!

Say this prayer: Heavenly Father, please have mercy on me. I give myself to you, take it do something with it. Help me to walk in Holiness, do things right, and express The Joy of the LORD, without compromising on Godly fear.

Help us LORD, in Jesus’ name, amen.
