“v13b…hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses v14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross v15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”.
Today, our Heavenly Father Wants to Remind us that once we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord & Saviour, no dark spiritual ruler has authority to use our past transgressions against us. Jesus Has Nailed all our sins on The Cross.
Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Colossians, emphasized that The Cross of Christ Was Enough A Price to Pay for The Salvation of us all. Paul explained with clarity of The Victory that the saints have over past records of sin and all spiritual rulers of darkness.
Beloved, I have come to realise that condemnation has a way of influencing us to sin the more. The devil has a way of nailing us down with condemnation, reminding us of how sinful we have been since childhood. Pray and ask The Blood of Jesus to Cleanse you of any guilt & condemnation, because The Blood is A Champion.
Realise that Jesus never condemns you; John; 3, 17. When you carry guilt & condemnation then you don’t believe in God’s Love. God’s Love is Bigger than your guilt & condemnation It is important for us to understand that in Christ, all our sins Have Been Nailed to The Cross. All our transgressions Have Been Forgiven.
When guilt & condemnation are high then your confidence will be low. Don’t let guilt & condemnation be in your heart otherwise you will not have any confidence toward The Word, and your Faith Won’t Work for you. Know that it is the devil who puts guilt & condemnation on us.
Apostle Paul further explained what happens in the realm of the Spirit when we sin. He explains that there is a certified acknowledgment against every sinner, and this ‘certificate’ serves as a legal ground for rulers of darkness to oppress the sinner. Based on this legal basis, demonic decrees are made against the sinner to destroy the harvest of his/her labour and the life.
However, Glory be to God that through Christ’s Painful Death on The Cross, our past sins and transgressions Have Been Forgiven, serving as legal grounds to the kingdom of darkness that demonic oppression have all been Destroyed. The rulers and principalities have Been Disarmed and disgraced. There is therefore no condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
I want to inspire us all today. If Christ Has Died for us, let us also live for Him. We are not to live in sin; however, when we fall into sin, let us not lie down in condemnation. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, but Satan condemns us. Whenever we hear those whisperings of deception that we cannot grow in holiness, let us rebuke the devil knowing that The Cross of Christ Continues to Speak Salvation for us.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Redeeming me from my sins and from the wicked arms of demonic oppressors. Please help me to walk in this Victory.
