DO NOT LOSE HOPE IN TODAY’S DARK WORLD.

DO NOT LOSE HOPE IN TODAY’S DARK WORLD.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 27:13-14) v13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living v14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, God’s about to do somebody some good: believe to see The Goodness of God, in today’s dark world. Always have a positive attitude towards everything (Ps 27; 13-14 – waiting on God = expecting Him to Show up, your breakthrough to get the job you want – no matter how bad thing are, always be upbeat about life & expect something good to happen to you). Waiting on God gives you hope

We live in unprecedented times, but God is using our troubles in ways that we could never have imagined. It is the devil that is giving us troubles

DAVID’S EXPERIENCE OF HOPELESS.

  1. David suffered through stressful situation because of King Saul’s jealousy and hatred. He mourns that even his family (under the influence of the enemy turned against him, but The Lord Did Not: (Psalm 27:10 – When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up)

2. He felt as if the bottom had fallen out of his world, and he stood on the brink of losing all hope. joy was gone from his life, and David wondered if life could ever return to normal.

DAVID’S SOLUTION TO LOST HOPE.

David’s Solution to hopelessness is found in The Word of Word:

  1. He trusted the goodness of the Lord! (Ps 56: 3 – What time I am afraid; WILL TRUST IN THEE) – he is reminding himself of what he believes,of Whom he trusts. David knew God is Good, he could trust the Goodness of God (Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart).

2. He had the assurance that God Would even Let him see that Goodness before he died (Ps 27: 13). God Has Made a Similar Promise To us Today in: (Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose)

You can read the story of David in (1 Samuel 30). He and his men returned home one day to find all their families and possessions stolen by an enemy. The men cried out to David in desperate discouragement. Mighty warriors cried like children and became angry with David for allowing this to happen. Of course, David had nothing to do with it, and he ran to God for Answers. God Answered David and Gave him and his men The Victory Over the enemy along with every person being Restored to the men.

That was David who was not born-again, but now Christ Has Come. Now we are born-again, and we have better promises. As a born-again believer (full of The Holy Spirit) there’s nothing that’s too hard for you: Ps 27; 14 – expect God To Do something Good for you.

Jesus Has Recovered all these Blessings from the enemy and Has Given them to us. They are all ours NOW, but not for the future. Don’t put everything in future like; “…one day we will go to Heaven”; No, The Bible Says we are already seated in Heaven (‘…sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph 2: 6). Believe to see The Goodness of The LORD in your life NOW that you are alive, not sometime in after death (Ps 27; 13)

No matter how bad live gets, nothing affects how Good God is: Faith Will Get you out, because Faith is the victory that overcometh the world, 1 Jn 5: 4.
