(NKJV) Psalms 65:6-8 “Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power. 7) Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. 8) They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.”
(CEV) Psalms 65:6-8 “You are strong, and your mighty power put the mountains in place. 7) You silence the roaring waves and the noisy shouts of the nations. 8) People far away marvel at your fearsome deeds, and all who live under the sun celebrate and sing because of you.”
The Bible Says that God is Control of all things. That means that every event, person, and thing in the entire universe is Overseen by God. The theological term for this is “sovereignty”. This should be a great encouragement to us. Why? Because not only is God sovereign, but He is also Good. If God was not good, it would be scary to realize that God is in control of everything. But because he is completely Good and loving, we can trust him even when things seem to be going bad. Don’t spend too much time to know ‘why’, but just believe that God is in Control– stop thinking, go back to your heart & believe.
Nature is beautiful. The Earth is filled with incredible attraction sites such as the mountains, oceans, the fountains, forest and even the sun in the sky. These have been well Structured and Positioned by our Heavenly Father, the Most High of the Universe. He Who Created these is the very One Who Sustains them in their place. King David gave a profound detail of how God controls all that is on Earth. The mountains reflect the highest points of the lands: the sea, the biggest of the waters. The morning and evening reflect the seasons of life. Also, God stills the tumult of people, to the amazement of people.
In summary, David wants us to know that God is in control of lands, sea, sky, seasons, and people. Is He not an Amazing God? Beloved, if God can establish the mountains with His strength, there is no mountain of challenge He cannot Help you overcome. There is no storm of life beyond His control. Even when it seems your season is over, God is still in control of your mornings and evenings. I want to inspire you today. Our God is not dead; He Lives Forever! Be encouraged that your Father in Heaven has Control of every setting of life and will Cause all things to work for good.
The fact that ‘GOD IS IN CONTROL OF IT ALL’, doesn’t mean that He Does everything – Good or Bad. Some of the things happen because our stupid choices. He is a Good God, so He only Does good things. All the Bad things that happen in the are done by the devil eg, hurricanes, Tsunamis, earthquakes, poverty, famine, miscarriages, accidents etc. Even though Num 21: 6 says, “And the LORD SENT fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.” – NO, GOD DID NOT SEND the fiery serpents to bite them = the serpents were always there in the wilderness with them (and God was Shielding them from the serpents), until they complained & murmured. Complaining and murmur will stir up the devil
Don’t be jealous of anybody God is in Control of what you have (or you don’t have), so put your trust in Him. Similarly, don’t compare yourself with anybody; you don’t have to pray like them or do what they do, etc. You are an individual and God Has a Plan for you. He is in Control of the hearts of men. May His Great Name be praised, Amen.

Heavenly Father, all praise and thanks be to You. I am amazed at Your Might, Strength, and Wisdom. I know that with my life being in your hands, everything is under control. Bless me LORD,
