WE TRIUMPH IN CHRIST

(NKJV):   2 Corinthians 2:14 = “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

(CEV):     2 Corinthians 2:14 = “I am grateful that God always makes it possible for Christ to lead us to victory. God also helps us spread the knowledge about Christ everywhere, and this knowledge is like the smell of perfume”.

(NIV):     2 Corinthians 2:14 = “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere”.

AS A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN YOU WILL NEVER EVER LOSE  IN LIFE, YOU WILL WIN ALL THE TIME

Once you get born again, the rest ‘is Christ in you, the hope of glory’ Col 1: 27, and the devil cannot stop you.

You do not win a few and lose a few. No, you win everything all the time, so you are on your way forwards & upwards to the top, why? because Christ is In you, and He Does Not Lose – it’s God’s Plan for you to absolutely win all the time. The Bible Tells us to ‘Fight the good fight of Faith’ – It’s a good fight because we win always.

When you feel like giving up the most that is when your breakthrough is closest to manifest, so do not quit & do not give up because God Has a Good Plan for your life. He is on your side. Jesus Has already Got the victory & you are walking toward it right now. You don’t win few battles and lose a few battles; no, you win them all all  the time (2 Cor 2: 14)

(1 Cor 15; 57)  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Have you ever watched world soccer cup winners celebrate as they go for their medals? The aura of that moment is simply beautiful: as the winners jubilate because their hard work has paid off. That moment of matching in celebration for their medal is a perfect expression of a triumphal procession. In Christ, God Himself Leads us in triumphal procession.

Paul’s statement to the Corinthian believers, as captured in our key verse today, expresses his confidence in Christ’s Finished Work. To thank someone for having done nothing does not make sense. Paul thanked God always for Leading believers in a journey and procession of triumph.

To triumph basically means to celebrate victory in its totality. If Paul says God Leads us in a triumphal procession, it basically means that as we follow God’s Leadership, we experience victory upon victory. We triumph over the works of satan, over the challenges of life, over poverty, over sicknesses, over curses and over death.

If God Himself is Leading a procession for battle, the results will be a hundred percent victory accompanied with celebration. God is The LORD of Host; He is All Mighty in Battle and He Leads those of us in Christ in triumphal procession.

The Big question is: have you joined the triumphal procession? Remember two conditions ought to be met. 1. You should be in Christ. That means if Jesus is not The Lord of your life, you are not part of this victory. 2. You should submit to God’s Leadership. It is God Who Leads this procession. Imagine a church chorister refusing to follow the systematic steps during the choir’s procession; he will distort the steps of others.

Give your life to Christ if you’ve not, follow God’s Leadership and you will experience triumph in every endeavour of life.

Prayer

Thank You Father for You Lead me in triumph in each season of my life. Please Grant me the Grace to follow Your leadership daily.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
