Your lifestyle gives praise to God; it honors Him when you go to work on time, it honours Him when you go out looking your best, etc because people may not go to church, but they are looking at how you live your life – whether you realize it or not people are watching you, even in small things. You are the 67th book of the Bible.
Remember, in life, you can’t please everybody no matter what you do and so don’t try it. Know that life is too short to spend it trying to keep others happy. Indeed, whatever you do good or bad, people will always have something negative to say about you. That’s life.
Maintain your silence: if you’re not too convinced about what you want to say, just smile. Smiling and silence are the two most powerful tools. *”Smiling is the way to solve many problems, and Silence is the way to avoid many problems”*. For you to be successful in life, put a deaf ear to the public mouth, put your FOCUS only on Jesus, and strive towards your goal, for no matter what you do, someone somewhere will find something adverse against it.
Don’t be a hypocrite either, people are watching you – neighbors, friends, work colleagues, family, etc. People are watching your lifestyle to see how you will respond to adverse situations. People are watching you – how you talk, how you dress, how you handle problems. People are watching you – they want to see you living the Christian life you say you believe in. Whatever you do, do all as unto God, don’t work hard only when the manager is around – Jesus is Watching you all the time.
One thing you must know, however, is that you can’t change how people treat you or what they say about you, but what you can do is change how you react to them. Don’t lose yourself in the process of trying to make everyone happy. Your attitude towards life must be positive, so don’t stress.
Always be yourself and love life. Keep safe. It is well.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
