Deuteronomy 28: 13 ‘And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God…’
Ephesians 1: 21-23 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23) Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Jesus Said we’re to be in the world but not of it. That doesn’t just mean that we are to separate ourselves and behave differently: it also means we are to see things differently & victoriously: It means we are to live above only—always—and not beneath—ever.
(1) When we were born again, we became new creatures (see 2 Corinthians 5:17-18). Old things—old nature, (old desire to get what we want) are passed away. All things are new and of God. We are reconciled to God through Christ and have the ministry of reconciliation to others. By Faith, Righteousness was accredited to Abraham (see Romans 4:20-22). God Made us right. We didn’t grow into that because we did so good. No, we were Made right with God! – For He who knew no sin, was made to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God through Him (see 2 Corinthians 5:21).
(2) When you accepted Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior. You became a new creature and was Made the Righteousness of God in Christ. The moment you were born again, you were Made as Righteous as you will ever be. You were Made as Righteous as Jesus is. Jesus Prayed that we would be one with the Father, just as Jesus is one with the Father (John 17:21-22). A person cannot be one with the Father without being Righteous.
(3) God Created everything by Faith—He believed it and Said it, and it was. All things were Created by and for Jesus, a Man, the Lamb Slain before the foundation of the world. We are Made right with God. Righteousness and holiness are not the same thing. We’ve been made the Righteousness of God (in Christ), and we become holy as He is Holy. God Loved us even when we were dead in sin, because He is so Good (see Ephesians 2:1). ‘By grace you are saved through Faith’ (Ephesians 2:8). Both Grace and Faith are gifts of God.
(4) You already have a presence in Heaven even though you are still on the earth. Quit worrying; Whatever is worrying you, get over it. Jesus was and is a Gift to the world. The Holy Spirit is a Gift to the Church. You can’t earn either gift; they are both received by Faith.
We should be thinking above and not beneath, by Faith. Let the spiritual force of Faith take over and Do its work
Make this declaration:
“By Faith, I will set my mind on things above and not things beneath. By Faith, I will refuse any thought that does not lift up the Name of Jesus. By Faith, I will stay in peace and joy in every situation. By Faith, I will enjoy the presence of the Holy Spirit on a continual basis. By Faith, I will think about God’s WORD, written especially to me. By Faith, I will please God
in Jesus’ Name! Amen”
