Proverbs 2:6-8, ESV – “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.”
There are numerous benefits to treasuring God’s Word and inclining our hearts to it. Many a time, people tend to have a poor attitude towards God’s Word simply because they do not value the benefits that come with knowing and walking according to the Word of God.
King Solomon is one person who clearly understood the impact of God’s Word on his life. Notable among the numerous benefits of having the right attitude towards God’s Word are: wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and security.
Beloved, blessed is the man who has received wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from the Most High. The wisdom that God gives does not fail. You cannot be living in line with God’s wisdom and end up a failure in life.
Instead, your decisions and life as a whole baffles people as they constantly wonder in utter amazement concerning what God does in your life.
A man of the Word is a man of in-depth understanding in all aspects of life because God’s Word cuts across all facets of life. Also, show me a man who treasures God’s Word and lives according to it, and I will show you a man whose ways are guarded and secured by God.
Do you want to receive God’s wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for life? If you do, then you need to develop the right attitude towards God and His Word.
