GOD REWARDS DILIGENCE

Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Today, we want to acknowledge an important character of God: He surely rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Diligence is not just doing it once or just for only a few times but diligence is doing it over & over several times, and The Bible says that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. We always have to keep on keeping on and never give up. Because God will definitely reward us for our persistence. NOTE; ‘…Winners never quit, and quitters never win…’

Diligence allows us to operate with our best for His highest with excitement and passion, in order to complete our work and call from the Lord. It is practical obedience in action, which is the loving of our call and the pursuing of our work so we are doing our best for His glory.

The devil doesn’t want you to please God, and he doesn’t want you to get what Jesus  Died for you to get  (because without Faith you can’t get those things), that’s why he’s after your Faith: – first; he attacks your mind, then your body. If you do what is right God will Reward you, because Heb 11; 6 – God Has  a Reward for those who are Faithful.

In fact, God only rewards those who diligently seek Him, which means people with a lazy, lethargic, do-nothing, “take-it-easy” attitude will never be greatly rewarded by the Lord. Folks let’s believe something good, that God is Good and He will rewards our efforts. If we believe whatever God Says, no devil in hell can keep us out of our reward. If we slipped into doubting let’s get back into believing – the more you believe the more you get a tender heart.

God doesn’t reward not half-hearted people or people who seek Him when there’s a problem: you will get a Reward from God ‘…BUT YOU DO NOT GET ANY REWARD FROM GOD FOR JUST DOING SOMETHING ONCE…’. You will consistently do the right things. Make pleasing God your highest priority. Your efforts to go to Church will not go unrewarded -YOU CANNOT WALK WITH GOD AND BE PUT TO SHAME

Truly Jesus is telling us all things concerning the Father’s Plans for us and our relationship with Him through the Son for the Father is diligently seeking ‘the true worshipers’ through the Son, and the destination of the diligent seeker is God’s throne, and his reward is God Himself!

One of the rewards of faithful service in the Kingdom of God is prosperity (Property is only money, it can be health, marriage, relationships, etc. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11: 6). Jesus also said those who seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness will be rewarded with the necessities of life.

Many of us go to church on Sundays but not all of us diligently seek God. Many of us are Christians because we really want more of God, love Him, and want to please Him, even if it will lead to death. Many of us are in church because we have problems and issues only God can deal with them.

Those who really please God are those who by Faith know that God is present in their personal lives,  so they give Him the first place in all matters of life. God is looking for people who want Him for who He is, not for what they want from Him. How will you feel if you get to know that your wife or husband is only around you because you can help him or her to solve his/her problems; not loving you for who you are but for what you can give?

Some of us confess that we love God but our actions speak otherwise. Will you avoid your loved one when he requests to talk with you? Will you accuse him of things you were rather guilty of? If we don’t do it to any loved one, we shouldn’t do it to God. God shouldn’t be the ‘spare tyre’ of our lives, He is supposed to be the ‘driver’.

The assurance is that when we seek Him, we will find Him. When we pray diligently, He will answer. He is ready to reveal Himself to us if only we will give Him our attention. Let us not be too busy to spend quiet moments with God. It is so refreshing.

I want to encourage you; go fully for God. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and heart. Prove your love with work. Seek God diligently and you will be amazed at the joy, blessings, peace, and fulfilment that will gush into your life. God rewards diligence. God bless you.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I am inspired to seek you more diligently. Help me LORD to love You with every fibre of my being and serve You wholeheartedly. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

QUESTION FOR MEDITATION:

Am I seeking God diligently out of love and not of selfish gains?
