Luke 18: 1 – And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint:
Matt 6: 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
“Prayer is the core value of any Christian endeavor. It is the foundation, the most essential part. Regardless of anyone’s ability, the result will be failure if they are not backed by prayer.” (Oral Roberts).
Your prayer must be simple: Do not make your prayers too long, & with BIG, BIG fancy words. No make prayers simple, & also pray your way throughout the day (ie; pray short, short prayers though the day, as you go about)
Also, when you pray avoid vain repetition – do not memorize something & just pray it from your head (memory) rather than praying from your heart. The scriptures clarify that vain repetition is the problem (see Matthew 6:7). Sometimes you will need to repeat important things in your prayers. But if you repeat words without thinking, you’re not really communicating with Heavenly Father.
Prayer is about sincerity of heart: praising him, worshiping Him, asking Him to meet a need
Prayerlessness is sin
You can’t change your family member with your fleshy efforts, but you can pray for them, then live a Godly life by that person
If you want something ask God for it – James 4: 2 – you don’t have because you don’t ask.
Pray BOLD prayers – (Ps 2: 8) – “Ask of me, and I shall give thee…” Praying Bold prayers does not mean pray shouting prayers. When you go to your earthly father to ask him for something, do you shout? No: but because our hearts are aligned with God in Faith, He Tells us to pray with boldness, expecting that our prayers will be answered (1 John 5:14).
God is Waiting on you to ask
Why some prayers are not answered? – James; 4, 1 (From whence come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members)?
All Christian failure is a prayer failure – A prayer-less Christian is a powerless Christian, Amen.
