Begin to Praise.
NKJV, Psalm 33: – “v1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright v2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings v3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise”.
CEV, Psalm 33:– “v1 You are the Lord’s people. Obey him and celebrate! He deserves your praise v2 Praise the Lord with harps! Use harps with ten strings to make music for him v3 Sing a new song. Shout! Play beautiful music.
PRAISE: According to the Word of God, that’s the most appropriate, becoming, thing that you as a believer can do.
What to do when you do not know what to do? –PRAISE –
God’s idea of appropriate praise, and yours may well be two very different things. The praise He calls for is joyous and uninhibited. And, at times, it’s just plain loud! God is not a respecter of people, but He is a Respecter of obedience, ie Gen 4; 3-10. We cannot just get up & worship God the way we want, we should worship Him in the way He Tells us to.
Look in the Bible and see the kind of praise that goes on in Heaven. Read Isaiah 6 and find out how they act in the throne room. The seraphim shout in there until the doorposts shake! And when they do, the Glory of the Lord Fills the house.
When you get to Heaven, you’re going to be praising like that too. You’re going to be leaping and praising God with every part of your being. But don’t wait until then to start. Begin now. Let the Word Dwell in you Richly so that you can speak Psalms and praises out of your own spirit. Great things happen when you praise to God continually.
There is Power in praising – if you are ill, in trouble, need money, etc Praise God. Learn how to praise God when it is not convenient. You can increase your Faith through praise. Praise cause your Faith to thrive. Things that are impossible begin to happen when you praise God.
Complaining or murmuring will not Move God, but praise will: Praise God for what He has Done. He Did some things for you that you do not know that he Did. He Got you up this morning, He Put food on your table, He Made it so that you have got a right mind this morning, so give Him praise. Heb 13: 15 – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
You do not only praise God for what He has Done, but also praise God for what He is Doing or is about to Do in your life (Ps 100: 1 – Make a joyful noise unto the LORD…) – Faith always Prepares and Praises ahead of time for what it Expects to Happen. Praise Him that you are joined up with The One Who Has Conquered the world, the flesh, and the devil.
In order to get to the place called “SECCESS”, you must worship and praise your way there. Worship is your warfare, and your praise defeats the enemy. We must be Thankful & Praise His name. Your BANNER IS VICTORY.
Decide today that instead of praising God the way you like, you are going to start doing it the way He likes. Begin to release those praises joyously, uninhibitedly. Don’t wait until you get to Heaven to praise God with all your being. Do it now. God Deserves it!
