MATTHEW 24:4-5

(NKJV): “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many”

(CEV): “Jesus answered:

Don’t let anyone fool you. Many will come and claim to be me. They will say that they are the Messiah, and they will fool many people”.

Wen Jesus was asked to list the signs of the Last Days, He Began with the most prevalent and significant sign, DECEPTION! Deception is the process or state of one being convinced beyond measure in his mind and heart that a lie is the truth. The devil thrives on deception = Rev 12: 9 (And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVETH the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him). Deception is one of the main vices that the devil uses – he likes to play with your mind & convince you that ‘wrong’ is ‘right’. Deception will let your thinking go astray. Make sure that you are not deceived.

Your thoughts affect your outlook on life, do not think about everything that comes into your mind. We have to recognize the lies of the devil & we have to know that, more than anything he uses our mind: lies to us & brings deception into our life. Satan tries to steal everything in our life that Jesus Died to Give us. Satan deceives the whole world, he enemy tries to control the whole world including the money in the Babylonian system. People think they are in control, especially people with money think they are charge but that’s part of the deception because satan is manipulating them for his own gain. He is regulating the money according to his plan for the world (Rev 12: 9)

Mk 10: 27 whatever seems impossible to you is a deception from the devil, because The Bible Says; ‘…WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.’.

1 Cor; 3, 18-20 – worldly education deceives people. Education is good but there is another Wisdom That is higher. Thinking that you know everything is another deception

The enemy knows that his time is short, so he has increased his deception. You are in a war with the devil and ie; he wants to get you to believe his lies, because the mind is the battlefield. This is a deception ie satan wants to hold you within limits (to contain you), & it is deception that he’s using. The answer to his deception is; Jn 8; 32 ‘The Truth Will Make you free …’. Just knowing The Truth will not set you free – what makes you free is being a consistent doer of The Truth. Even the devil knows that if you do The Truth consistently you will get a breakthrough. Ignorance is a breeding ground for deception (Is 5: 13). Do The Truth when you are; up, down, feeling good, or not feeling good yourself.

The Bible Says Jesus Came so that we have a great life (in Abundance, to the Full, until it Overflows, but Satan being a deceiver will put lies in your head that you cannot be happy. It is only The Truth (The Word of God), that can overcome his deception. The devil has no real power (Colossians 2:15), so his greatest tool is deception and lies. He comes to you on earth and accuses you in the way that you think. He has to deceive you into thinking that God is against you, that God is angry with you because you have failed Him, or that your sickness or poverty is God’s punishment for your sins.

Are you part of those already deceived? Have you ended up worshiping your pastor instead of God? Are you at a wrong place absorbing wrong doctrines that may cripple your soul? If the answer to these questions is a ‘Yes’ and you find nothing wrong with these, then I am afraid you have already been deceived. We need to fight off the devil with The Word: Learn enough of The Word to know What Parts to go to, depending on what problem brings to you. Don’t sit there let him ‘beat’ you up with his lies, deceptions, and the mind tricks. May God grant us Grace to be discerning, amen.

Heavenly Father, please Help me to remain focused on Jesus, that I will escape every plot of deception against my life. Help me LORD.
