‘I will praise you seven times a day.’ Psalm 119:164 TLB
Develop the right attitude. Your attitude is very important. Renewing your mind is not just a one-time event, no its daily – YOUR ATTITUDE IS AFFECTED BY YOUR THOUGHTS. Few things in life are more important than your attitude, and here are four ways you can keep a good one: (1) Realist your attitude needs to be constantly adjusted. Anything you don’t maintain eventually deteriorates. The stronger your natural inclination is towards doubt and negativity, the more you will have to work at it. So begin each day with an attitude check, and throughout the day look for red flags signalling that you’re not doing so well. (2) Pray because you will need God’s Help to maintain a good attitude. The Bible says: ‘Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.’
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. —Romans 12:1–2
Always have a good attitude no matter where we are. Discipline yourself in what you say, how spend money, etc. If you get a better attitude, then the things that used to bother you will bother you no more at all. We must have a good attitude towards people, & also in face The of difficult situations. Look at Moses, when God wanted to smite the Israelites in Exodus, Moses pleaded with God to ‘repent’ & leave the Israelites alone: that was a good attitude. The devil cannot defeat you if you keep a good attitude – loving , kindness, humility, etc
Give me a vision of Your Heart, O God, so that the things of this world that used to defeat me and cause me to sin will no longer have any appeal to me. Flood over my heart and mind with Your Presence.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
